Recover+ is an advanced post exercise recovery drink designed to re-charge and re-energise fatigued muscles, reduce muscle breakdown, and build stronger muscle tissue. Recover+ contains a comprehensive mix of ingredients all aimed towards maximising recovery from intense exercise and maximising muscle building potential.
Anyone taking part in intense training, long distance running/cycling, sprinting, or high intensity sports like football, rugby and triathlons would benefit from taking Recover+.
Recover+ contains a perfect 3:1 ratio of carbs to protein. Research suggests that this 3:1 ratio is the most effective way of replenishing muscle glycogen and improving muscle synthesis post exercise. As well as carbs and protein Recover+ also contains, among other things, 3 key ingredients for muscle repair and synthesis; D-Ribose, L-Leucine, and L-Glutamine.
D-Ribose - D-Ribose is a naturally occurring sugar which is vital for ATP production and recovery. Ribose provides the key building block of ATP, and the presence of Ribose in the cell stimulates the metabolic pathway our bodies use for ATP production. If the cell does not have enough Ribose, it cannot make ATP. So, when cells and tissues become energy starved, the availability of Ribose is critical to energy recovery. One study found that D-Ribose increased the rate of energy recovery in fatigued muscle cells by 340-430%.
L-Leucine – L-Leucine is an essential amino acid (it cannot be produced by the body and must be consumed through the diet) which aids energy, endurance and recovery. Leucine also works with Isoleucine and valine to build and repair muscle tissue.
L-Glutamine – L-Glutamine Helps prevent muscle breakdown, build new muscle, and speeds up recovery time. As well as these benefits L-glutamine is also reported to increase human growth hormone (HGH) levels. HGH helps the body metabolise fats and promotes new muscle growth.
Timing is also important for optimal recovery after exercise. The first hour after
exercise is the most critical for recovery, If consumption of carbohydrates is delayed for as little as two hours, glycogen resynthesis is reduced by up to 50% - replenishing glycogen stores quickly speeds up the recovery process and increases exercise potential

Extreme serving (after high intensity training/exercise) 3 level scoops (130g) to 500ml cold water.
Normal serving (after regular training/exercise) 1 ½ scoops to 250-350 ml cold water.
Consume within 30mins of exercise for optimal recovery. For best results use a WWS shaker, alternatively mix with a fork.
